Out Cat Netting Is Very Hard To Escape From..

How Do You Install?

1. Plan

You might need at least one other person to help with this, but planning how you want the netting to protect your cat depends entirely on your situation. There is no specific "installation" guide because no two installs are the same.

2. Install

Before you start drilling holes into fences and walls, have another good think about how the netting should be installed. How nimble and crafty is your cat? You should install according to your specific situation.

3. No Gaps!

Cats are expert escape artists. Your cat will be looking for any gap to slip through. Make sure you leave none! You might need to use additional methods to secure it, pending on your situation. Pull ties are a great way to do this. If you need more, Bunnings has loads.

There's no right or wrong way to install, so we've included lots of tips in our FAQs.

Here's a quick video on installing the 'J' brackets into a fence. We recommend having the netting behind the bracket.

A Little About Us...

We're a local, Melbourne-based couple, who've owned many cats over time.

They all loved escaping.

We wanted to create a way to keep them in our yard, protected, but with some of the freedom cats love.

It took a while, but eventually we found some netting that was lightweight, weather proof, tear proof and strong enough to withstand claws and teeth.

Then we figured that the netting wasn't the complete answer, accessories are needed to, to help keep the netting secure.

Safer for them and safer for the local wildlife!

FAQs

Where Do You Ship To?

We ship Australia-wide. The shipping costs are calculated in your shopping cart. The costs depend on where you live in proximity to Melbourne, where we are based.

Can I Cut The Netting?

Sure can, we recommend using strong garden secateurs to get through the steel fibres. Make sure you don't leave any of the steel wire hanging out as this can be hazardous.

Do You Do The Installation?

We do not offer any installation services. If you need help, calling on some friends or even putting the job up on AirTasker is an option.

What Are The Products Made From?

The netting is made from stainless steel fibres that are coated and sealed in nylon. So, not only is it very strong, but the steel is encased. The J brackets are made from steel and coated in a non-toxic black pigment to make them weather resistant.

Can You Guarantee My Cat Won't Escape?

No. That's not something we can guarantee. The cat cannot bite through the net, but you need to install without gaps.

What Accessories Comes With The Packages?

Each package comes with 30metres of nylon rope, 30 pull ties and 30 wall plugs. You can buy a package with just the netting and the accessories (no support brackets) or purchase the brackets with the netting as an additional cost.

How Many Support 'J' Brackets Do I Need?

That depends on your install situation. In our install video, we have used 4 bars to secure the netting to a pretty common wooden fence. The more brackets you have, the more secure. 5 brackets is a recommended amount.

What Is Your Returns Policy?

TBC

What Tools Do I Need To Install?

At a minimum, you'll need a power drill to install the J bars. Depending on whether you're drilling into wood, brick or concrete, you might need a specific type of drill.

Can I Attach The Netting To Brick Or Concrete?

Yes. Make sure you use the appropriate drill and drill pieces to drill into the brick or concrete. We recommend pre-drilling and using the wall plugs into brick or concrete before installing the J bars. Do not use drill pieces designed for wood on brick or concrete. You'll break them and probably damage the drill's motor.

Do You Have Other Sizes?

We do not. The 4m X 10m piece is all we sell at the moment.

When Will I Get My Order?

We ship our packages within 48 hrs of receiving the order. The delivery time from that point depends on where we're delivering too. There's tracking details that will be provided to you so you can follow the package.

How Big Is The Netting?

4M x 10M which is 40 metres squared. It is a very large piece of netting.
