Returns + Refund Policy

We want you to be genuinely happy with your Just For Cats kit. If you're not, here's exactly how a refund works — no forms, no interrogation.

30-day money-back guarantee

If you're not happy with your kit, you can return it for a full refund within 30 days of delivery. Just email us at hello@justforcats.shop with your order number and let us know.

What you'll get back: the full purchase price of the items you return.

What you'll cover: return shipping back to us.

Condition of returned items

The kit needs to come back in re-saleable condition — meaning the nylon-coated steel fibre netting hasn't been cut, and the brackets or accessories aren't bent or unusable. If you've trial-installed the kit and it's still in good shape (a few zip ties used, netting unrolled but uncut), that's fine — we'll still process the refund. We ask that you be honest with us about the condition and we'll be honest with you.

How long does it take?

Once we receive your returned kit, we'll inspect it within 2 business days and process your refund within 5–10 business days from there. Refunds go back to your original payment method. Depending on your bank, it can take a few extra days to appear on your statement.

Damaged or faulty items

If your kit arrives damaged, or develops a fault that's covered by our materials warranty (see below), don't worry about the 30-day window — we'll sort it out regardless. Email us with photos and we'll arrange a replacement or refund, subject to our assessment of the condition of the return.

5-year materials warranty

Our nylon-coated steel fibre netting and J-brackets come with a 5-year materials warranty. If they tear, rust, or break down from normal weather use within 5 years of purchase, we'll replace them free. This is backed by our manufacturer's quality guarantee.

What's not covered

Damage from cats clawing or chewing through (cats are wily, and a determined cat with time on its paws can damage anything), damage from accidental cuts during installation, modifications to the netting (such as trimming to fit), or damage from heavy machinery, fire, or storm events beyond normal weather.

Email hello@justforcats.shop with your order number, photos showing the issue, and a brief description of what happened. We'll respond within one business day.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You're entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You're also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

If you need to return your Just For Cats kit, here's how it works.

You can return your kit if:

— You've changed your mind, within 30 days of delivery (see our Refund Policy) — The kit arrived damaged or faulty — The kit doesn't match what you ordered (we'll ask for a photo so we can sort it quickly) — The product develops a fault covered by our 5-year materials warranty

How to start a return

Email hello@justforcats.shop with:

— Your order number — Why you're returning the kit — Photos, if it's a damage or fault claim

We'll reply within one business day with a return address and any specific instructions for your situation.

Return shipping

For change-of-mind returns, you cover the shipping back to us. We recommend a tracked service so the kit doesn't go missing.

For damaged, faulty, or warranty returns, we cover return shipping. We'll send you a prepaid label or arrange a courier.

What to include

Pack everything in the original shipping box if you still have it (any sturdy box works if not). Include all components — netting, rope, wall plugs, pull ties, and any J-brackets that came with your order. A handwritten note with your order number tucked inside helps us match it up quickly.

What happens next

Once we receive your return, we'll inspect the kit within 2 business days and email you to confirm. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days from inspection (see our Refund Policy for full details).

Items we can't accept

— Nylon-coated steel fibre netting that's been cut to length — Brackets that have been installed (drilled into a fence or wall) — Items returned more than 30 days after delivery, unless covered by warranty

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our returns process is in addition to your rights under the ACL. Nothing here limits your statutory rights to a repair, replacement, or refund for goods that fail to meet a consumer guarantee.
